On Wednesday, I saw the movie Becoming Jane. It was not a great movie, but good enough to be entertaining. Anne Hathaway gave a fine performance as did Jame McAvoy. I watched Persuasion on DVD last night. This was the forth time I've seen this film. There is not a lot of excitement but I like the film for the quiet emotional intensity that is portrayed, especially by the starring actors, Amanda Root & Ciarán Hinds.

Yesterday, I had lunch with Leigh in Boston. She was looking very well. Afterward, I went to Newbury Street to shop at Newbury Comics and Brooks Brothers. The weather was perfect. It is always good to visit the Back Bay again.
