I have just watched "Caprica" On Demand. My gosh, the opening scene is racy. The story does explains much about the creation of the Cyclons and why they are monotheistic. There were fine performances all around, especially by Eric Stoltz, Esai Morales, and Alessandra Torresani.

So, John Hodgman is a "PC", a commentator for "The Daily Show", and now a brain surgeon on "Battlestar Galactica". Impressive.

Last night I watched some of the DVD extras on the Season Three set of BSG. One of the features showed Jamie Bamber in makeup having prosthetics applied to his face to make him appear overweight. Up until that point I was not certain whether his weighty appearance was artificial or he purposely gained weight. The prosthetics were most realistic even after Jamie left the makeup trailer. He also mentioned that he wore one of "Sharon's" pregnancy pillows under his uniform.

The fourth and final season of "Battlestar Galactica" debuted last night, and, as expected, the excitement was awesome. Plus, James Callis provided great comic relief as Dr. Gaius Baltar. I still can not accept that Col. Tigh is a Cylon (and, no frak, neither can he).
Earlier in the evening, I watched an episode of "Ironside" (Girl in the Night) on DVD that had Donnelly Rhodes (Dr. Cottle) in it as a mobster with designs on Susan Saint James.

The new issue of Vanity Fair
has a two page advertisement by the SCIFI Channel announcing all new episodes of "Battlestar Galactica" beginning Friday April 4th. The entire regular cast is shown (Tricia Helfer twice). It's rather cool. :)
